How to understand your bill and your plan

By Daniel Jimenez, founder of Kanbei · November 3, 2026 · 2 min read

A Kanbei guide — step by step, for organizers.

Kanbei has one plan, and it covers 3 organizations on one account: $20 a month, $170 a year, or a one-time lifetime payment — the current lifetime price is on the Pricing page. Every plan has unlimited members and unlimited admin seats. There is no free trial, and there are no refunds on any plan.

The three ways to pay

  • Monthly: $20 a month, plus applicable taxes. Cancel anytime; billing stops at the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual: $170 a year, plus applicable taxes. Already paying monthly? Switching to annual takes $20 off — $150 for the first year, then $170 a year.
  • Lifetime: a one-time payment, plus applicable taxes — the current lifetime price is on the Pricing page. Paid once, never renews. Switching to lifetime is always full price.

What Billing shows

Open Billing from the sidebar to see your plan, whether it is active, and when it renews or ends. Invoices are listed on the same page. You can switch plans on the Pricing page anytime.

Cancelling

Cancel from Billing. You answer an optional question about why, and confirm. Paid access ends at the end of the current billing period — the exact end date is shown on the Billing page, and you stay active until then. Monthly and annual billing stops at the end of the current billing period; lifetime access is paid once and never renews. Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends.

Doing this in Kanbei

See the options on the Pricing page and manage your own subscription on Billing. Creating an org is free — subscribing comes only after the org exists. One payment covers 3 organizations on one account, on every plan.
