Kanbei has a dark mode for the whole site: the app, the public pages, and the demo. Pick System, Light, or Dark in Settings → Appearance, and everything flips at once. It is the same calm design, just dark — warm near-black pages, cream cards, and the same yellow accent.
Change it in Settings → Appearance
Open Settings from your sidebar, then the Appearance section at the top. There are three choices: System, Light, and Dark. Pick one and the site changes immediately — there is nothing to save.
What System means
System follows your device: if your phone or computer is set to dark, Kanbei is dark; if it is set to light, Kanbei is light. Change the device setting and Kanbei follows it. If nothing is stored, System is what you get.
Where your choice lives
Your choice is saved on the device, in the browser — not on your account. It follows you between the app and the demo on that device, but a different phone or computer has its own setting. Signing out does not erase it.
Dark mode in the demo
The demo has no account and no Settings page, so it has its own toggle: a sun/moon button in the banner strip at the top of the demo. Tap it to flip between light and dark. It saves the same way, on the device.
Doing this in Kanbei
In your workspace, go to Settings → Appearance and pick System, Light, or Dark. In the demo, tap the sun/moon button in the top banner. Either way the change applies to the whole site at once, and stays that way on that device until you change it.
