How to see what changed in Activity

By Daniel Jimenez, founder of Kanbei · November 3, 2026 · 1 min read

A Kanbei guide — step by step, for organizers.

Activity is the org’s log: a list of what changed, when it changed, and who did it. When a name disappears, a due changes, or a setting looks different, start here before asking around — the answer is usually in the log.

What it records

Changes to people, groups, events, jobs, dues, and settings are logged as they happen, with the person who made them. It is a record, not an inbox: nothing in Activity needs a reply.

How to use it

Open Activity from the sidebar and read the most recent entries first. If you are checking one change, look for the time it happened and work backwards from there.

Doing this in Kanbei

Open Activity from the sidebar. It costs $20 a month, plus applicable taxes, for the whole organization, with unlimited members.

Common questions

What does Activity show?

What changed in the org, when, and who did it — a log of changes to people, groups, events, jobs, dues, and settings.

Do I need to reply to anything in Activity?

No. It is a record, not an inbox.

Something changed and nobody admits to it — where do I look?

In Activity. Find the time it happened and the entry names who did it.
