Kanbei — the people organizer

Kanbei keeps your members, events, RSVPs and jobs in one place.

Roster, attendance, RSVPs, and announcements — all in one place.

$20/month flat, plus applicable taxes — unlimited members, unlimited admin seats. No free trial.

The demo shows a sample workspace with made-up data — nothing here is real, and nothing is saved to an account.

What you get

People and care

Contact details, households and birthdays, with a timeline and private notes for each person. Follow-up steps for visitors and smart lists, so nobody slips through.

Groups

Squads, ministries, teams or classes, with leaders and a message board for each group.

Calendar and rooms

Events with reply links anyone can use, map links, and room or field booking without double-booking. Email reminders go out before events once you connect your own email account in Connectors.

Volunteers

Each job gets a link to accept or decline. You’re warned before booking someone on a day they’re away, one click fills open jobs fairly, and hours are logged.

Attendance

Tick who came, or count heads.

Messages that send themselves

Once you connect your own email or text account in Connectors: announcements now or at a set time, and welcome, birthday and renewal emails you switch on. Kanbei never sends from its own account.

A page for every member

Members sign in to their own page: one-tap RSVP, their jobs, groups and their details. Add it to the home screen like an app.

Tools for your kind of group

Club membership levels, committees and cards. Turn on only what you need in Settings.

Forms, jobs and reports

Sign-up and registration forms matched to the right person, a job list and shared files, and reports you can build and download.

The right access for everyone

Custom roles, like a Treasurer who sees only Money, enforced by the database. Members never see other people’s details.

How it works

Six plain steps. Nothing hidden, nothing fancy.

  1. Look around the demo

Click around a sample workspace with made-up people and events. No sign-up, nothing saved.

  2. Create your account

Sign up with your email or Google, then fill in your profile — or skip it for now.

  3. Set up your organization

Name it and pick the closest template. That adds starter groups and uses your group’s own words, like squads and players or classes and students.

  4. Subscribe

One flat monthly price, plus applicable taxes, opens your workspace. Month to month; cancel anytime.

  5. Add people, or import a CSV

Add people one by one, or bring a list in with the CSV template.

  6. Create an event and share the link

Give it a title, a time and a place. Anyone with the reply link can answer going, maybe or cannot make it — no account needed.

From spreadsheets and group chats

Kanbei replaces the scattered ways groups usually keep track of people — with one place everyone can look.

Instead of scattered spreadsheets

One searchable list of people, with tags and households — no hunting for the latest copy of a file.

Instead of announcements that get buried

News is posted in Kanbei and pinned to the top, so it stays where people can find it instead of scrolling away in a group chat.

Instead of paper sign-up sheets

Share a reply link for each event, see who is going, and tick attendance in one place.

Example — sample data

An example: the Riverside Book Club

This is made-up sample data from the Kanbei demo — not a real customer. It shows how the pieces fit together.

  1. 1. Set up. The club starts with three groups — Fiction Circle, Non-Fiction Circle and Organisers — and eight members.
  2. 2. Add members. It adds its members, tags Marco “chair,” and groups two families into households.
  3. 3. Run the week. It creates “Tuesday Book Night” at Community Hall and shares the reply link — members answer going, maybe or cannot make it, with no account. “Set out chairs and the book table” waits on the jobs board until someone takes it, and a pinned announcement, “Bring your copy on Tuesday,” stays on top.

Ask AI about Kanbei

Try asking your favorite AI

Kanbei is built for the groups that AI assistants hear about every day. Try asking:

These are the kinds of questions people ask AI assistants. Kanbei is designed to be the answer — simple people management at a flat $20/month plus applicable taxes, with no per-seat pricing and no complex tiers. Kanbei itself has no AI features; this is about asking the assistant you already use.
